soft underfoot, the thick woven threads of the my emerson rug create a beautiful, textured pattern — ideal for bringing warmth into your home, and easy to style with.

the  my emerson is a hand-woven, chunky textured plain floor rug consisting of 60% wool and 40% viscose. this rug is ideal for use in a bedroom or low-traffic sitting room — it is not suited to use in high-traffic areas. my emerson feather features raw wool with a hint of charcoal, creating a soft cream tone.

measurements: 2m x 3m

composition: 60% New Zealand wool, 40% viscose; full cotton backing and edging for improved longevity and wear.

the my emerson rug is available in 2m x 3m or custom sizing, please contact hello@kintra.co.nz to enquire.

created by craftsmen using artisan skills, all rugs are individually handmade. as a result, our rugs can vary by 5% from the size ordered.

product images are only visual representations, and while care is taken to ensure accuracy, colours may vary due to monitor variations.

we recommend a non-slip underlay should always be placed under rugs. it will stop the rug slipping, create more depth underfoot and lessen wear on the rug. it also prevents the risk of dye transfer to the under surface and helps protect timber flooring. sun exposure for extended periods of time may cause fading. Iiems should be rotated regularly to minimise colour change and damage. it is best to vacuum your rug before any dirt is embedded, ideally twice a week in the first few months. vacuum regularly with low suction power. avoid direct sunlight where possible. shedding of fibres from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time. note: colour will vary due to the natural fibre variation and should be expected from rug to rug.

spot treatment:

we recommend treating spots and spills immediately with warm water and paper towel. If the stain persists, contact a professional rug cleaner as soon as possible. do not scrub rugs as it may cause permanent pile damage.
